A Soulful Experience With JL
JL has been playing the music he loves in venues across the city and on the radio for longer than he admits to. Never afraid of playing new tunes he believes the music he curates covers a number of genres, all of it connected to a funky rhythm. As a founding DJ of the UK Soul Chart, his radio shows have been syndicated to over 33 stations worldwide over 3 continents. He’s also interviewed a wide variety of artists such as Beyonce, Roy Ayers and Chaka Khan plus many who are less well known but equally talented. His soul programmes on Swansea Sound and The Wave were a real appointment to listen in the 90’s and now he’s back on home turf, every Friday at 10pm.
