Dave Bowen

Mumbles boy Dave joined Swansea Sound in 1974 and now provides us with an easy Sunday morning soundtrack each week from 10. His impressive 50 year career in the industry has encompassed presenting, journalism and programme management. He achieved record breaking figures resulting in a Sony Award nomination and an entry in Debretts People of Today. In the 80’s, Dave was a guest speaker at the celebrated New York Radio Conference and he’s also been a successful broadcast consultant, working with stations in the UK, Paris, California, Philadelphia, and New York. He’s recently returned to Swansea with plans to relax a little more whilst pursuing his four main interests of boats, golf, motorcycles and SA Radio Live.
